Question:Is it permissible to reduce/stop relations with neighbors in order to reduce their interference in our lives?

Answer: It depends on the situation.
It is your duty not to allow the others to interfere in your life, and this normally does not require stopping relations with them, but to make it controlled.
Question:Someone gifted me a dress which I wore for a few minutes. At the end of the year, since I still don't require it, will khums apply on it?

Ayatollah:Sistani

Answer: Wearing it for few minutes does nor reflect a real need.
Hence, yes, you need to pay the khoms according to its value now, if you want to sell it.
Question:I have been paying khums from the last 2 years but this year when my date came I was in debt so I didn't.
Now its been 6 months and I am earning well. My dream is to build a house for my parents because we have a very small house.
Is it compulsory to pay khums when there is a need to build a house.

Answer: If the house you are living in does not meet your needs, and you are in desperate need for a bigger house, then you do not have to pay the khoms of that house.
Question:If a person likes a girl and chat with her on social media for the purpose of understanding her to get married in future and he is not involved in any kind of sin by this chat. Is it permissible?

Answer: If the said conditions and restrictions are applied, then it is permissible.
However, this should not take long time.
Question:Can a person use Beer shampoo to cleanse hair and beard? The shampoo contains 0.25% v/v alcohol.

Answer: No problem.
Question:When reading an aya in the Quran with mustahab sujood, do u need to have made wudhu in order to do the sujood?

Ayatollah:Sistani

Answer: No. There is no need, even if it is mandatory sojood
Question:Kindly advise regarding mustahab fast while travelling for less than 10 days , can I fast as it's the month of rajab I wanted to keep fast for my mannat.

Ayatollah:Sistani

Answer: Fasting while traveling is not permissible, except through vow.
You can perform vow to fast during traveling. However, according to S. Seestani, it is not recommended (makrooh)
Question:Wanted to know if there is any Islamic significance on the dastarkhawn/feast held on 22nd Jumada Al Thani which is attributed to Imam Hassan(as).
This is observed mostly in India & Pakistan.

Answer: There is nothing related to Jumada II, 22nd
Question:I’m fairly new to praying and reading the Quran and someone said i messed up on some parts but I never knew I did some parts wrong. Do they still count if I never knew?

Answer: No.
