And if he has divorced her [for the third time], then she is not lawful to him afterward until [after] she marries a husband other than him. Question:We have an Alam room in our house the alams are kept in a glass cabinet we also have other pictures of the shrine of imam hussain and hazrat Abbas too we have one family picture where we had gone for Ziyarat too this picture is hung opposite the glass cabinet but above the height of the alams my mother in law thinks we shouldn’t keep the picture above the alams as she doesn’t feel appropriate. My question is does having the picture above the alams cause any disrespect ? Would this by any chance be a cause of problems arising in the family? Question:My question is: can I or one of my sisters lead the jamaat prayers at home without going to mosque if we don’t have time or cannot go out.
Can ladies read jamaat namaz at home? Is there any ruling that someone has to be more learned than the other to lead the prayers?

If there is my mother, sisters and sister in laws - maybe 3-5 ladies, can we read jamaat namaz at home? And is there ruling on who should or could lead the prayers?

Ayatollah:Sistani

Answer: It is possible and in fact very recommended. In the jamaat of ladies everyone would stand in one line including the Imam.

It is better that one who has more knowledge of the deen, and more taqwa, is the one who leads the jamaat.
