Question:I have a big lack of confidence and very negative. I think its because of the fact that I don’t love myself. I dont find any qualities , any talent in me.
Moreover, I have one big problem, When I pray, I always doubt if I passed gas or no. Sometimes its doubts and sometimes its true. So, everyday for each namaz, I repeat lt about 5-10 times. And I am always thinking that it is the fact that Allah(swt) don’t Want to Hear my voice, because I have many gunnah?

This problem affect me seriously , I feel more and more depressed.
I still making duas everyday, I seek help from the Ahlul Bayt (as), I do isteghfar.
But I dont know what happen to me.

I do so many duas like yastashir, zyarat e ashura, duas e makaremlul aklaqh, to change my self and to become a pious person with a pure heart.

But I am just thinking that, How I can be religious if I can’t pray salat properly? Because, after my prayers , I am never satisfied. So can you imagine how I feel everyday? I Just leave my mussalo with a heart broken.
And its not normal, because namaz is here to relax us, and for me when I am in my mussalo I just start to stress.
I already did a treatment but still the same.

Do you have something that can help me?

Ayatollah:Sistani

Answer: Allah is Great and you will be fine.

My advise is as follows:
1. Kindly consult your GP for professional and medical advise on this. It’s very important you do this as soon as possible. Allah has blessed the professionals with wisdom for them to be able to reach out to those in need.

2. Try as much as you to ignore the doubts either after wudhu or salat. One wudhu or salat is enough in this regard

3. Try as much as you can not to miss reading and reflecting on verses of the Quran daily

4. Don’t forget Sadaqa to those indeed from time to Time

Allah will make it easy for you
Question:I have question concerning the zikhr in namaz.

I noticed that before, I made many mistakes in the makhraj in namaz.
So, I learned the correctly pronounciation of it.

But, I still have difficulties to memorise it.
So, during my namaz, I repeat 3-4 times the same part of sentence to make the correct makhraj.

My namaz is still valid right? Even if I corrected it many times?

Ayatollah:Sistani

Answer: Your namaz is not invalid for correcting mistakes in pronunciation. However, try to spend time learning to avoid correcting it during Namaz.
Question:I have question concerning salah please.

If for example during my salah , I think about something bad , without do it intentionally makes my salah baatil?

For example, I prayed, and one music just come to my mind and I tried to directly ignore it and change my mind to be more concentrated and continued my prayer.
Is it ok? Or I have to repeat my namaz again?

Do you have some advice to be more concentrated during prayer please?

Ayatollah:Sistani

Answer: Your salat is not batil since is thinking. You don’t have to repeat your salat.
However, it’s important to reduce the thinking:

Few advises:

1. Prepare for salat in advance. Meaning, make wudhu some minutes before the actual salat time. Do some optional payers before or do some long prostration before the actual obligatory salat.

2. Try to spend time to understand whatever you recite in salat.
Question:What is the reality of Sehr/ Âain/ Jinn etc?
There has so many Quranic Verses like; Surah al-Baqarah, Ayat al-Qursee, Surah ar-Rahman, 4 Qool, Verses of La'ânat, Verses of Ahqam, Verses of Adalat, Verses of Hell, Verses of Creation Theory, Truth and Reality, and if Islam is Islam,
Laa Hawla Wa La Quuwata, Illa Billahe al-Âliyel Ajeem,
Iqra Keetabaka Kafa be-Nafseeka Yawoma Âlaika Haseebah,
Innama A'âmalahu Bin-Niyat,
everyone responsible for own fe'l etc. that's proof indirectly that no need to worry about all of those things, then what should I do about my reality, life and eternity & what's the Aqaêed?

I want pure knowledge, representation, and understanding from Karbala.

Ayatollah:N/A

Answer: Jin/ Sehri/ jinn etc are real as outlined by some verses of the Quran. What you need to do is to be good person, remember Allah and Ahlul bait now and then. All shall be well and nothing to worry about
Question:To contextualize my question, I'm going to tell you what I'm not asking: Im not asking for proof of Ismah as a doctrine, but rather why Prophets have been given ismah in the context of predestination and free will. Moreover, I am not asking for proof of free will either.

My question is in multiple parts and I've done my best to break it down into yes/no type questions. okay, Bismillah.

Were Prophets chosen from the start or were they chosen conditional to whether someone in a society was capable of accepting Prophethood (by their own merit)?

If the former, then can't the objection be brought up that those prophets were essentially predestined heaven (and therefore making Allah unjust in some way)?

If the latter, then is it possible for ordinary people to reach the level of prophets?

If this is not possible and if what makes prophets better than ordinary humans the fact that Allah has granted them wahy and knowledge, then is it fair ask why ordinary people don't also receive that same treatment as mentioned by 12:24 which would thereby guarantee them heaven and protection from sin?

If the granting of wahy and knowledge is conditional upon someone having intelligence and purity, then is it a reasonable objection to say that intelligence is not a controllable factor?

If intelligence is not a controllable thing, then can the same objection be brought up that most intelligent people who are granted prophethood are guaranteed heaven (thus making Allah unjust again) because their uncontrollable faculty of reasoning was why they were granted wahy which prevents them from sin? (That is, someone's uncontrollable circumstances has led them to have a higher capacity, and therefore they have a greater opportunity to reach a higher level of heaven than ordinary people)

Please forgive the scatterbrained question, I had to think about how I was going to ask this. I'm not sure if you can ask for clarification on this app, so forgive any confusing wording.

Ayatollah:Makarem Shirazi

Answer: Prophets were chosen conditional to whether someone in the society was capable to accepting the position

Yes, it’s possible for ordinary person to reach the level so long as meet all the requirements. However, the number of the prophets was destined

Intelligent might not be a controllable factor, however it’s usage is controllable. Up until today, ordinary people receive inspiration in place of Wahy.

The bottom we are created with choices to exercise. Whoever makes good use of his intellect, desire and imagination, Allah strengthen him and made him to excel and vice-versa.

Indeed we all have choices to make. Our beloved prophets and Imams had choices too.
Question:I came across a Hadith attributed to Ameerul Mumineen and wanted to know its status so I could see whether I should ponder over it, here it is in text-

"Kumayl narrates: "I was riding my horse behind Ali ibn Abi Talib. And while he was riding his horse and I am behind him. I called out to him, whats the truth? Imam Ali said sorry. I said what the truth, who are you? He (Imam Ali) looked at me and said what have you got to do with the truth. I said, we you come to the door of bounties it is known that you never turn anyone away. Imam Ali replied, what sprinkles in you, overflows in me. You want to know the truth who I am? You want to know the truth? You think you are close to me and you want to know the truth, you think you know the truth as to who I am? I will tell you what the truth is. The truth is the revelation of the splendor of the divine majesty without a sign. I (Kumayl) said, I don't understand what you mean, tell me more. He (Imam Ali) said it is the defacement of the conjected through the clearing of the known. I (Kumayl) said I don't understand, but continue telling me what is the truth. He said it's the rendering of the veils by the triumph of mystery. I (Kumayl) said tell me more. He (Imam Ali) said it is the divine attraction, but through the apprehension of the known. I (Kumayl) said tell me more. He (Imam Ali) said it's that light of the morning eternity that continues to radiate through the unity of the temples and their disunity. That's who I am. I (Kumayl) did not have a clue as to what he meant. He (Imam Ali) continue riding the horse and I continued riding behind him"

Ayatollah:Makarem Shirazi

Answer: Indeed it’s from Imam Ali (as). It’s worth pondering and reflecting. It highlights on the merits of our beloved Imam Ali (as)
Question:In ayat 2:241 we read about a divorced woman's maintenance. My question is if the ayat includes women who don't have children from their husband and no other family to turn to after the divorce. If a man with stubbornness and anger divorces his wife without giving her the chance to find a person to reconcile with him and there are no children from their marriage and she has no family at all, then does she have any rights for maintenance? Or is she on her own abondoned?

Ayatollah:Khamenei

Answer: The sharia laws says that” it’s recommended to take care of her irrespective of whether she has a child or not until she finds something for her livelihood”
This is according to the husband’s capability and means.
It’s a recommendation.
Question:Also, why is it that verse 14 specifically mentions spouses and children that can be enemies to us? Why doesn't it mention other relatives like parents, siblings, etc. or even friends?

Ayatollah:Sistani

Answer: Verse 14 was revealed on a person called “ awf ibn Malik ashja”

The reason for the revelation is that his children and wife wouldn’t allowed him to respond to the invitation of the prophet to join the Muslims in the battles. He then complained to the Holy Prophet and as a result the verse was revealed.
Generally speaking, your children and your wife are the most closet to you and you can be tested by someone close you then the others.
Not to say others are not tests. Allah knows best and that’s His wisdom
