Question:With today's technology why is there still so much confusion about moon sighting? do we physically have to see the crescent or can it be calculated as per orbit?

Ayatollah:Sistani

Answer: I don’t think there is too much confusion. It’s about the understanding of the teachings of the marja we make Talqlid of during the major occultation of the 12th Imam. According to our Marja Ayatuallhi Sistani, one should physically see the moon and must have two just witnesses.
Question:why we don't have 313 despite having thousands of scholars and students of knowledge. is divine time required for his a.t.f.s. reappearance ?

Ayatollah:Sistani

Question:I have a problem regarding Ramadan and fasting. Actually I suffer from irregular menstrual cycles. Today, During fasting, I saw some little dark blood, and I cannot determine if it’s haidh or istihaza, because of the irregularity of blood appearing. Meaning one day I will see little blood, and on the same day, after few hours there will be no blood.

In this case what should I do? should I consider this as, Haidh or istihaza?

Ayatollah:Khamenei

Answer: This is not Haidh but rather Istihaza. You will go by the ruling of Istikhaza and continue with your prayers and fasting until the blood comes and continues the way it normally comes. That’s the time you will consider haidh. For now, it’s not Haidh.
Question:Wanted to know till what age roza is wajib as some says that once you cross 70 years it's not compulsory is it true?

Question:Who created Evil?
1)If Allah created Evil then how can Allah swt be " all good"?
2)If Allah swt didn't create evil and it still exist then how is Allah swt " all powerful"?
3) If Allah swt is everywhere, is he there in the lack of something for example if there is light can Allah swt be present in darkness?

please recommend any book on this topic. JazakAllah

Ayatollah:Sistani

Answer: 1. Allah never created Evil. This is simply because Allah is absolute Good and nothing else
2. Evil doesn’t exist. It’s rather relative as oppose to being in existence. Only Good exists
3. No doubt Allah is everywhere. Lack of something means, the thing is not there. So how can Allah be in something which is not there.
