1. If a person performs an istikhara through Tasbih beads or Qur'an before doing all the recommended steps like first istikhara as supplication, then pondering and thinking thoroughly on what should be done, then asking others. Is the istikhara valid?

2. Is giving sadaqah a good way to prevent any harm or bad outcome for acting against the result of an Istikhara?
