A fellow Christian friend has asked me a few questions in regards to these Qur’anic verses;

“And of His signs is that He created you from dust; then, suddenly you were human beings dispersing [throughout the earth].”-30-20

“Allah has created every [living] creature from water”. -24:45.

His question is, if man is created from dust, that which is dry, then how can we are created by something which is wet, that is- Water?

The process of creation is complex. It’s a sign of Allah’s Greatness. Adam was created from soil mixed with water. Our creation involves much fluids, origin of it is water. Much of our bodies is water based etc
