Are these lies, truly lies?

Like if I was talking to someone, and I say:

“Yeah when this happened I was like: Ya Abbas what’s wrong with you”

But in reality when it had happened I hadn’t said “Ya Abbas”.

Does it count as a lie?

Do I go to the person and tell him that this was a lie?

If it is misleading and causes harm you should tell him it was a lie. If it is just an example then it is okay
