As per the UK medical law, if any doctor is practicing and they are visiting patient wards, it is necessary for them to be bare below elbows (they need to fold their sleeves upto elbow) however when they exit the ward to other areas they can roll their sleeves down. I wanted to know if in this situation is it allowed for a women who is a doctor to work? Can she work and roll her sleeves up when in ward and roll them down when she comes out of ward?
If this is the law and there is absolutely no way out, and by not doing it, it places unbearable hardship on them (eg losing job), then it’s ok but should be done only as minimum as possible
