As salamuun alaikum. If we save money every month with the intention of doing majlis niyaz but due to surplus money not able to do majlis; at present living in XX n also small house. Gave a part of money with good intentions to mother in law so that she can get some more support financially. informed husband while giving money in short can i use money saved for majlis for other purposes with good intention informing husband because he is only giving me that amount every month as a wife i m not earning anything allahhafiz

wslm thank you so much for your question yes you are allowed to use the money for another good intention so long as your pledge for using the money for majlis is not nazar. nazar simply means to pledge between you and Allah to do something good if your legitimate desire is fulfilled.
