I want to start learning about the inner meanings and tafsir of the quran. We have outer (dahir) and inner (batin) meanings of each verse.

Ibn Arabi, the famous sufi mystic wrote a book about the inner dimension of Quranic verses. I understand that many Shia mystics and scholars studied his books. I want to make sure that it is permissable for me as a Shia to read his books?

Also, do you know the name of his book that explains the inner meaning of Quranic verses? Can you please recommend a book or other books that do this.
