I am actually getting married in Dec 2022 In Sha Allah and will be having three of my major wedding events here in Pakistan (mehndi, barat, valima). So the thing is, Im confused if I can opt for male female mixed gathering (since I have younger cousins for example on the male side and I would like them to be around as well). Like the seating can be separate but not physical barriers in these events. If that’s allowed?

As long as women, including the bride, observe, full Islamic dress code. It is permissible to hold, mixed gatherings.
