I am not working and my husband is giving me money for the expenses for me and our kids. He is living in another country because of his job. He can’t send the money regularly so I have to save some keeping bad days in mind. Once the year is coming to end , I am left with some money as I don’t know when he will be able to send us again and in this foreign country I won’t be able to ask any one for the help.
My question is that , do I need to pay khumus on this money which I am trying to keep for bad days.

It is your husband's money, and he needs to pay the khoms of his total left over from his earnings where he works, including what you have in hand, except if he asked you to pay it from it.
