I had a query on behalf of my fiancé who has been wondering what is the ruling pertaining to wearing nail polish which is permeated by water and thus allows water to touch the nails during wudu, is this permissible? Also, would it fall under the category of adornment and thus be required to be covered up when outside around non mahrams

There is breathable nail polish that people thought is the solution to wudhu but even though it’s breathable it’s still a barrier for wudhu water to reach the nails
