I have a problem with my Sunni friends who apparently think it is bidah to celebrate the Prophets birthday. Do you have any specific verses from the Quran or Sunni hadiths that proves otherwise? And how do I explain it to them without being judged by them

The prophet celebrated his birthday by fasting on mondays
The Quran celebrates the birth of the prophets Jesus, Yahya, and Ismail by speaking of their birth. The fact that the Quran is talking about it means it is an important event. If God discusses it and talks about it why can’t we? When we talk about the birth of the prophet we are celebrating his birth.
