I have a question about praying with boots on in the following scenario.

I hike and camp regularly in rural areas and nature parks. As you know in the UK it can be very wet and boggy. I often find myself in muddy fields or woodlands when I need to pray dhuhr and asr. Is it possible to pray with my hiking boots even if they are pak in these areas? Or must I pray and get my feet muddy?

If possible use a shoes where you can at least have your toes touching the ground in sujood
If that is not possible or difficult due to where you are, then it is ok to wear shoes in salah due to your circumstances
