I have a question regarding the prayer times.
We know that we can combine prayers and Sura 17, verse 78 says this:
"Establish Prayer from the declining of the sun to the darkness of the night; and hold fast to the recitation of the Qur’an at dawn" (3 times: Fajr, Dhuhr + Asr, Maghrib + Isha)
In Sura 11 verse 114, Allah says:
"And establish the Prayer at the two ends of the day and in the first hours of the night."
What I have heard is that the two ends of the day are Fajr and Maghrib, the first hours of the night is Isha. So adding them all up, it would be Fajr, Dhuhr, Maghrib and Isha.
Would this interpretation be correct? Doesn’t this mean that we’d have to pray Isha at its time without combining it with Maghrib?

No it’s not correct. The Quran is explained by Hadith of Ahlulbayt. In Hadith the current way of prayer is clearly established. We cannot interpret legal verses by ourselves since we need Gods representatives to explain to us
