I have a question regarding Ziyarat of Kerbala and Visitation of Parents.
I currently reside in Toronto and make a point to visit my parents in Tanzania every 12 to 18 months. I have a wish to visit Kerbala, a privilege I have not yet had. I only have enough money to either visit my parents or to go for ziyarat of Imam Husayn (as). I would like to seek your kind advise for my dilemma.

Both are important. My humble advise is that: speak to your parent that you would love to visit Imam husein in a year and that you will not be able to visit them physically. They should be fine. You will make Dua for them during the visit and that itself is rewarding.
