I have heard of a Hadith whereby the washing of the wife’s feet by the husband on the wedding night and spraying the water around the wife’s new home brings baraka for the couple and their marriage. Will there be an issue if one does this day two weeks later for example after the honeymoon? As I am going on holiday straight after the nikkah and am not able to do this until after we’re back and in my husbands home. So will it still be valid if we do this after the honeymoon?
