I have heard that working on day of ashura is nehas and it takes away the barakah from rizk. I live in Canada and ashura is falling on weekday. I just wanna confirm with you that if there is any hadith on that from any Imam?

We have many Hadith that one should spend this whole day in grief and sorrow without paying attention to worldly needs.

You should try to get the day off if it possible but if it is an unavoidable scenario, then you can donate the equivalent salary of that day to something that would promote the message of Imam Husayn (as).
