I heard that when someone keeps a pet dog in their house angels don’t enter the house the dog is in, and I’ve also heard that it’s angels don’t enter the room the dog is in, which narration is accurate? And is it permissible to keep a dog as a pet and should certain accommodations be made in order to do so?

It is closer to the angels will not enter the room the dog is in. It is not haram to keep a dog as a pet but it is better to avoid it
