I just wanted to ask if it was permissible to pray salat later for a university lecture but not to the stage where is went to qaza? For example salat is at 12.53 and I have to be in my seat for 12.55 and I won’t leave the lecture until 3.30

Yes it is permissible to delay for that reason as long as the time for that salaah is remaining.
