I read things on internet about Mukhtar Al-Saqaffi. On wikipedia there’s written that he claimed Muhammad ibn al Hanafiyya as al Mahdi and as an Imam. It is also claimed that imam Al-Sajjad refused the permission to revenge and kill the killers of Imam al Hussein. The internet is full of made up info so I wondered what of it is right. Is it true that imam al-Sajjad refused the permission and that Mukhtar claimed Mohammad ibn al Hanafiyya as Imam al Mahdi?

Unfortunately we cannot rely on internet for every information we want. This information is not accurate at all. Mukthar honoured and respected Imam Zainul abideen. Imam had no issues at all with Mukhtar revenging.
