I wanted to know if lanolin cream is halal if taken into the mouth? This is used by mothers for their own care when nursing children to heal their damaged skin. But I wanted to know that if this goes into the babys mouth will it be considered haram? I read that it is created from the hair of the sheep and wanted to know of that source of extraction is valid or not.

If it causes harm it will be haram. If it goes in small amounts and not intended for ingestion and doesn’t cause harm to baby then it’s ok
