I wanted to know, if someone lied and want to be forgiven by Allah from this sin, is it necessary to tell the truth to people we lied to?

No there is no need to tell the truth to the people lied to unless the lie caused conflict or caused serious damage and if any financial loss or something similar was caused by the lie, then that needs to be compensated.
