I was wondering what the rulings are on a woman who starts her menstrual period after Dhuhr Salah. Would she be allowed to break her fast immediately or does she have to maintain her fast until Maghreb? Is there kaffarah if it is broken?
As soon as a woman gets her menstrual cycle, her fast is void and she can eat and drink. There is no kaffara however there is qadha which if not done before the next month of Ramadan, one has to pay fidya which 750 grams of food to a poor
