I would like to know if ever in his life time did Imam Hussain as wished to visit Hind(now India). As believed by many Shia/Brahmi Hindu Shia’s in India.

It is mentioned in some historical records that when Imam was not allowed to go back to Madina or go into Kufa, and they had decided to kill him, he gave them to go to a third place other than these two places or any place in the government of yazid.
