If one on the night of 15 Shaban asks for getting rid of his prolonged sins; then is it correct? Or we cannot ask for getting rid of sins as a prayer?

You can ask for anything as long as it’s not something haraam. There is no problem with asking Allah to forgive you for all your sins, as long as you don’t go back to those sins.
