If someone who is not a public figure has shared something on their social media account which is vieweable by the general public (e.g. setting a facebook post to be public), is it considered backbiting if the post is reshared, taken screenshots of it or simply shown to other people to bring into attention the misdeeds of the person in the post without adding any false statements to it or misrepresenting the post?

If the post is viewable by the public, it means this person is doing whatever they are doing publicly, so they don’t care if it is shared.

However if it was private, or it is being shared by someone and other things are added which were not in the post, it would be backbiting.
