Is a job as a portfolio manager/investment manager/credit analyst allowed? A portfolio manager creates and implements investment strategies for individual investors or institutions who invest in different funds. As a portfolio manager, you need to allocate the funds to the right investments so that as a result, the return on investment can be maximized. Since we are advising investors to maximise their returns, is this type of job allowed, as interest will be involved in determining where the highest return is?
I'm not really familiar with which jobs aren't allowed, I'd never want to be in a haraam profession/role.
To this extent, there is nothing haram in it. However, if it involves putting money as deposit in banks, and negotiating profit with banks owned by Muslim individuals or Muslim Governments, then this part is haram.
