Is it haram to style your hijab? Like for example put some cute pins on it. Or let’s say wear big earrings with them but at the same time cover your ears. Like I’ll put some fabric over my ears and wear earrings.

In regards to hijab, the minimum criteria is that the clothes should not be tight fitted such that the body shows or attract attention from the opposite gender and everything should be covered sufficiently apart from the face and hands upto the wrists.

As for your question, in some cases a specific type of clothing in one place might attract attention but not in another therefore in addition to the minimum criteria of hijab, if the hijab style is seen as the norm or is not a cause of attracting attention in the area you live then it is ok.
