Is yoga haram to practice? Are all types of yoga haram? I’m currently 7 months pregnant and was (rarely) practicing pre-natal yoga but my husband is worried it may be haram due to the origins in Hinduism. I guess I’m also wondering if pre-natal yoga that helps with the labour is different than regular yoga or is it flat out haram?
Be sure to recite Dua Al-yastasheer when you go into labor . Yoga is not haram in any way as long as it is being practiced appropriately (women with women only, not exposing one’s body, etc).
