My father and his friends are involved a mortgage scheme which is illegal in the country I live in. As a Muslim, is my responsibility to leave this alone and turn a blind eye to save my father or report this activity to authorities to safeguard the companies being defrauded and potentially put my father at risk of charges? I’m very concerned because as a believer I can’t watch injustice happen but I also have to protect my father.

You have a responsibility to remind your father or anyone who is doing the wrong thing. Inviting people to do the right thing and reminding them to stay away from the wrong thing is a religious obligation.
Informing others, including authorities about the wrongdoings of other people is not your responsibility and not a religious obligation. In some cases it could be problematic to do so.
