My friends when non Muslims ask questions and suggest somethings, all they say is it’s haram in Islam and no other. And I feel like this always makes them away from Islam or scared from the religion, is saying haram for every of the haram things permissible, or can one say it in any other way?

If something is haraam it’s haraam. We should not be ashamed of our religion nor should we always try to appease others.
