My husband’s cousin has passed away. I feel very upset because over the last few years my husband and him weren’t in touch very much.
His cousin had many issues, some of which include drinking alcohol, being verbally abusive towards my mother in law and many more issues. My husband went to see him when my father in law was dying and his cousin wasn’t interested in coming to meet my husband’s father before he died.
So over the years my husband hasn’t made much of an effort but recently he met him and also since he got taken sick we visited him a few times.
But my husband and I still feel guilty for not having done more during his lifetime – is there anything we can do to make up for this so we don’t fall into the sin of not silatur rahm.
