My in-law purchased an item of clothing for my son from an online store. They sent her the wrong item and were supposed to arrange collection and send her the correct item as well. They sent her the correct item but were unable to arrange collection and instead told her to dispose of the item incorrectly sent. She kept it anyways (did not dispose of it as directed by the company) and instead gifted it to my son. My question is can I allow my son to wear such clothing?

Yes since the company gave her the right to dispose it disposing doesn’t mean throwing it away.
