My mother is very dominating and toxic.she fill everyone’s ears with toxic . She didn’t maintain kith and kin. She rules over my money,my cupboard everything. Even if I give sadqa without informing her she starts fighting . I try my best to have patience but sometime my patience break when she start taunting my husband ,my kids. I get mentally disturbed and start getting angry ,response with a loud voice being mentally disturbed by her daily action. Is this major sin?

It is not allowed in Islam that anyone mistreats another person or acts rudely to them. But, if you must respond to your mother, then you should observe respect and reverence for her position. I cannot say responding loudly is a major sin, but it is best to maintain proper behavior towards one’s parents
