My question was regarding certain forms of investments in which one has little to no certainty over whether it will be successful or not. For example, there’s a form of investing in the stock market called “Options”. These famously are very risky, and hard to predict, and can lead to someone losing a lot of money or gaining a lot of money. The ways in which they try to predict such from of investing is typically a lot less scientific than stocks in general. Would investing in such a thing be considered a form of gambling, or is it still within the realm of investing?
