Question regarding joking in a group that is based on Islamic discussions most of the time. I would like to clarify this,

1) If the jokes are directed between the non-mahram in the group, would that be a problem?

2) If the jokes are general jokes but the sisters can be heard laughing and making jokes back, would that be problematic?

3) If this occurs in a group chat setting where only two of the non-mahram are joking with each other, is this appropriate?

4) Is two mahrama complimenting each other in this group of non-mahram permissible?

1) If they are directing the jokes at each other it is not a group anymore. It is haraam to joke with the opposite gender, especially a joke that can be interpreted as flirting. As the atmosphere is appropriate it would be allowed. If it turns inappropriate it would not be allowed.
