The Holy Month of Ramadan is coming up Inshallah and I’m home with my Sunni family. At the moment, I think it’s best to be quiet about me being Shia.

I was curious as to whether Sistani believes it’s alright to start and break fasts at the time Sunnis do, as Shias (I believe) have different times set with Maghreb being a little later.

You can refer in this particular matter to S. Hakeem, who says that you can break your fast with them if you are certain that the sun sat, as it is precautionary act according to S. Sistani.
