The latest year I came to know that we have to pronouce salah with proper tajweed. I have learnt wrong and have tried to correct it as much as I am able. Also, the latest 2 years I have difficulty because of medication side effects due to swollen tongue and less control over the mouth.

Is it enough if I try to learn tajweed gradually and also do I need to repeat certain words if I am not able to say it correct the first time? (I also get many doubts lately becasue of memory problems and in general)

Tajweed is not required for salat, what is necessary is proper recitation (as in the letters and accents). If you totally cannot pronounce the words then you should do the best you can and you do not need to repeat. But you should just work on correcting the past mistakes and improve
