I know we choose our friends but not our family and that may explain why I enjoy much more being around friends who remind me about God and with whom I can exchange about religion, than family where there is just discussion about this dunia…

should I carry on giving advice or talking about jurisprudence in this case or shall I avoid to avoid arguing with them. u remember reading a section regarding this in the minhaj of GA Seyyed Sistani… but would like a more detailed advice…

Keep on continuing with peace love and wisdom in a way u pass your message without any tension being created between you and your beloved family members. There are conditions of obligatory for it in Minhaaj so when those conditions do not exist it becomes recommend or other level. So as Allah swt mentions to us with wisdom and good method of admonition.
Best of luck keep it up as long as the conditions of forbidden does not befall.
