When we are in a car and we touch the leather with a wet hand is it needed to check to find out somehow if the leather was najjis or is it considered tahir? if a product is made out of something like wool, or the hair of an animal is it haram? And if we dont know if its made from animal products should we check? Or is that unnecessary?

Everything is tahir unless we know for sure otherwise. So unless you know base it on tahara
