Question:I am following grand ayatollah Wahid al khorasani and I wanted to know what he says about celebrating Christmas

Is it forbidden for Muslims to celebrate Christmas in a way that has nothing to do with the Christian religion. I mean is it allowed to buy presents, decorate our homes and eat good food for the sake of the kids.

Ayatollah:Wahid Khorasani

Answer:

It is not recommended, but not haram. However, if it effects the kids, and makes them believe in things which are against Islam, like Santa clause, and similar beliefs, and that this is a holy day, then it is becomes haram.

Question:1) Is it allowed for us to use temporary hair color, which is removed with water over time? Its not an obstacle for gusl?

2) If we have kajol in our lower lashes,  makes wazou batil? Is the lashes has to be obligatory wet ?

Ayatollah:Sistani

Answer: 1- If it is only a die, which only colors the hair, and do not prevent water reaching the hair, then it is allowed.

2- Water has to reach the lashes. If kajol is an obstacle, then, it has to be removed before wodou or gusl.
Question:Is there any dua or namaz for toubah ?

Ayatollah:Khamenei

Answer: Yes. There is dua narrated by Imam Zainula'abideen A.S.
You can find it in Saheefa Sajjadeya.
Question:Consider the case of a woman who is married and settled in a different city, which is now her new watan. 

How will she perform prayers (qasr or full) in her city of birth, which has her father's house? Is this place still her watan if she has not forsaken it?

Answer: As long as she still considers it as home, she prays full.
Question:While the hair of dogs are najis, does touching a dry pet dog, who is prevented from feeding on najasat, make one najis?

Ayatollah:Sistani

Answer: All dogs are najis, regardless what it eats. However, touching a dog with no wentess either from your side or it's side, does not make your hands najis.
Question:A person buys health insurance issued by a corrupted Goverment.
Insurance was bought for person 1, can he use medicines for other person 2 who hasn't bought the insurance from the Government.

Government is a corrupted whose authorities harass and eat money of individuals almost on daily basis unlawfully.

Answer: No.
Question:I usually do istibra after using toilet. Almost always I do it.
But its difficult to remember if I had done it, but mostly am sure I do it whenever I use toilet.

Sometimes I feel something had come out, what is the ruling?

Ayatollah:Sistani

Answer: If you are confident that you did it, then it is pure, while if you are not confident, then it is not.
Question:Referring to the book of "Marriage to Parenthood", it states regarding the conception of a child, under the section of what are the makruh times, regarding the time of the month.
It states that it is makruh during the 1st of the Month (except 1st night of Mahe Ramadhan), middle of the month (full moon) and end of the month (when there is no moon).

If you could kindly help to clarify, which dates exactly are middle of the month (when there is full moon)? Does it refer to 13th, 14th and 15th of the Month? Or only 15th?
And end of the month (when there is no moon), would be 29th / 30th?

Answer: 14th and 15th, as some months are 29 days.
End of the month is when the moon gets into wane stage.
