Question:I have a lot of questions regarding intersect marriage
I am male (from Sunni sect) and want to marry a girl (from shia sect). I just want to know:
1- If we (both) make compromises on our beliefs in order to minimize the differences, is it allowable? Like praying style, fast timings, and so, so can we do?

2-And it is okay to make a relation like a combination of both sects? I mean we (both) will be helping each other to minimize (not completely remove) the differences. Are we allowed to do that?

3-If we succeeded in marrying (in Sha ALLAH we will) so can we nurture our children they way we want(regarding sect issues)?

4-There are some majors issues regarding the times/eras of the following persons : Umar ibne khattab, uthman, abu bakr, fatima, ayesha.. (May ALLAH be pleased with them) so if we take out the discussion regarding these men and women’s misconceptions and tell our child to let Allah (swt) and His messenger Muhammad (saww) deal with what happened back then. And Allah and His messenger knows the best. And keep praying and making ourselves and try to make peace in society.
Is this possible? If yes, can you help me with the various verses or ahadiths or any other authentic sources.

Ayatollah:Sistani

Answer:

1- For prayers, it is not possible, as there are differences in how to pray, and what to recite, and how it is recited, while for fasting, it is possible, if you will delay you break fast 10 minutes.
Regarding the start and the end of the month, she can not follow you as well.
2- Refer to 1
3- Yes.
4- There is need to get deeply in these issues.
If you want to read about this, you can refer to the book (Then I Was Guided) written by Mohammad Tejani

Question:Is it prohibited in islam to fulfill desires with wife during the holy month of muharram?

Ayatollah:N/A

Answer: No.
Question:Is there much that can be said about tawala and tabarra in regards to actions that are obligatory? In relation to fellow humans?

Ayatollah:Sistani

Answer: Tawallee and Tabarree are wajib (mandatory) like prayer and fasting.
Tawallee is to follow and obey the guardians of God, whom Allah almighty wanted us to follow and follow them and follow their biography, while Tabarree is to deny the enemies of Islam, hate them, and make sure that you do not follow them in their believes.
Question:What do you say about these "new age" scholars in the West that pose under the guise of Shia Islam, want to use the corrupt Western philosophy in order to fulfil their arrogance and say things to their students like there are benefits to sins nauthoubileh. Then when you say this is against Quran and Ahlulbayt (As) they say things like the Holy Quran says alcohol has benefit and harm. And you say to them yes and because the harm is worse than the benefit it's forbidden. These very strange analogies I said to the "scholar" the Quran also says there are people with perverse minds seeking to change the Quran to their own desires.

I am sick of the West and it's blasphemous community even the so called religious community.

Ayatollah:Sistani

Answer: There are always some people who are trying to divert the people towards wrong path. This is not a new stream, and those people are always coming in religion dress, because it is the most influential dress to lead the people.
My advise is not to listen to them, and if you can stand in front of them, and prove that they are playing with concepts, then go a head.
You should warn the people about them.
Question:1) A girl, when she was (age removed) years old was sexually assaulted by (removed). Maybe twice or thrice. She didn't tell about it to anyone, not even her parents. She didn't even know whether she is a virgin or she lost her virginity because of the assault. The incident happened years back so she don't know anything. Till now nobody knows about it except her and one of her friends. Now that girl is in her (age removed)'s. Is it wajib upon her to tell about this to the person she is getting married to?

2) When that incident happened, she was very young. She didnt even know wht happend with her was wrong (because she didn't talk about it to anyone) or that ghusl had become wajib on her. She offered all her prayers without performing the ghusl. Now when she knows it, does she have to offer all those namaz again ?

Ayatollah:N/A

Answer:

1) No. She does not have to tell, except if the virginity is taken as a condition in the marriage contract or she gave the image that she is virgin.
However, it is better to be frank with him, because he will soon find out that she is not virgin.

2) What type of assault it was? Was it full intercourse, or with finger? If it was full intercourse, or insertion of the penis tip, then she had janabah, and needs to offer the prayers took place since she completed 9 lunar years, till she had the first ghusl. If the assault was with finger only, then no need for ghusl. There is one more thing, she can can get examined by a female doctor to verify whether she is virgin or not, before revealing it to her fiance.

Question:My question is regarding the awrah of men. I know the men has to compulsorily cover from navel to knee but sometimes people think that just because they are men they can be as they want e.g are they allowed to roam without t-shirt ,in shorts ,in upper inner wear which are half selvees or they can wear tight clothes,in front of na mahramas etc. S what are the rulings for men or there are no rulings except to cover from navel to knee?

Ayatollah:N/A

Answer: In prayers and among males, what requires to be covered is only the front and back, no more, while in the existence of females, they should wear wide clothes, and cover from naval to knee, and it is better to cover more than that.
Question:My question is that what is ilm e Jafar /jafra? And is this ilm so easy to attain that every individual can claim that he has this ilm? Where I live people, who claim that they have this ilm, they are usually busy in telling people about there future like with whom they will get married or when they are going to have a child etc? So by attaining this ilm all a person does this and could it be called right?

I have read that Huzoor s.a w has this ilm and he passed this ilm to Hazrat Ali a.s and through him, all the Ale Mohammed are the successor of this ilm. If it is right, then not surprising because all the imams possess the knowledge of unseen. What I wanted to ask is that some claim that this knowledge has been a miraas of Syeds and where I live some Syeds claim that they possess this knowledge. And how is this ilm different from fortune telling or astrology etc which is forbidden in Islam?

Ayatollah:N/A

Answer: Ilm ul jafr is a science related to Ahl Ulbayt.
It is not with any body other than Imam u Zaman AS, as narrated by Imams AS.
What those people are telling is not true.
