Answer: 1- Recite each prayer this dua, which was taught by Prophet to Imam Ali:

سبحان من لا يعتدي على أهل مملكته، سبحان من لا يأخذ أهل الأرض بألوان العذاب، سبحان الرؤوف الرحيم، اللهم اجعل لي في قلبي نوراً وبصراً وفهماً وعلماً، إنك على كل شي قدير
2- When you start studying, recite this dua:

Ayatollah:Sistani

Answer:
لا، فأفق تركيا يختلف عن أفق العراق، فلا بد من ملاحظة أفقكم، و المنطقة التي أنت فيها.
بالنسبة لهذه السنة، يوم السبت هو أول الشهر لكل الأرض.

Question:I feel afraid to pray tahajud as I am the only one who is awake and everyone is sleeping.
I heard unmarried girls should not pray tahajud everyday as jin may fall for you and can cause problems with marriage.
Will 3 Surah qul 3 times each and ayat Al qursi 3 times be sufficient to be protected from anything

Ayatollah:N/A

Answer: What you heard has no meaning.
Yes, reciting Ayat Al-Kursi, and the Qul surats is sufficient -Allah willing-for protection
Question:If someone does Ghusl Tawbah, do they still need to do wudhu after that? Can this ghusl be done everyday?

Ayatollah:Sistani

2- Yes, if he committed sins, but in this case, he is joking with Allah.
Question:I would like to know how this rule of khums applies :
1) Do we have to pay khums on left over food items in our house - for example- if the khums date is 30th April 2020 and I buy 10 kilos of rice on 1st april 2020 and I have 9 kilos left on 30th april 2020, do I have to pay khums on this 9 kilos? Does this apply to other things as well - example - left over biscuits, cooking oil, flour, etc.

2) Does this rule apply to non edible items - example if I buy shampoo on 1st april 2020 and I have used just a little till 30th april 2020, do I have to pay khums on this?

We were generally told that we have to wait 1 year before paying khums on anything but I have heard the above rule so I wanted to clarify

Ayatollah:Sistani

Answer: 1- Yes, if these residuals could be sold.
2- If it could be sold, then yes, but normally nobody buys used bottle of shampoo or fragrance.
It depends on communities.

What you mentioned about the waiting for a year is applicable if you are not working.
Question:1) Could you please explain this one year thing a bit further- I was working initially and kept a khums date to pay khums on my salary but for things that I used to buy , I used to catch a year from the date I had bought those things:

For example I used to pay khums on my bank balance every year on 30th june but if I bought something on 2nd July I used to catch 1 year from 2nd July to use those things-

2) Also I am not working now so for things I have bought now - do I fix a specific khums date or just catch 1 year from the date of purchase

Ayatollah:Sistani

Answer: 1) What you were doing is not correct according to the fatwa of S. Sistani.

2) Yes. Now you can do so.
Question:I have two questions. In our family we have grown up being very close to our cousins. We do take care to observe hijaab and avoid physical contact with na mahram cousins. However at times unintentionally a male and female cousin end up sitting next to each other which sometimes may lead to arms of one brushing arms of other with clothes. Is it haram ?
Also, what is the ruling about eating from the same bowl or sharing a glass of cold drink with na mahram cousin? Just to explain, at times a cousin drinks from a bottle of Pepsi and then some other cousin asks for the same bottle to drink from. Is it haram? And lastly, at times a cousin is carrying her baby and I ask to hold the baby. I try my best to make sure no physical contact is made while the baby is being transferred from my female cousin’s lap to mine occasionally it might occur. Is it haram?

Ayatollah:Sistani

Answer: There is nothing called unintentionally a male and female cousin end up sitting next to each other. Care has to be taken not to sit beside each other, and to wear proper hijab.
Eating from the same bowl is not haram, except if it leads to hands touching. The same thing applies to the glass sharing. However, avoiding such acts is preferred.
With regard to the baby, you can ask her to put the baby on something, then you can carry him.
