Question:1) While I was wipe wiping my feet with wudhu there was a very bit of dirt on my feet. Is my wudhu valid?

2) When wiping the feet does it have to be from the nails of the toes or can the wiping or can it be from the toes without touching the nails.

Answer: 1) If it was across the foot, then it is void, while if it was a spot in a place, and you wiped the whole foot, then it is OK.

2) It has to be from the beginning of the nails
Question:I woke up and found an unknown liquid on my underwear. I didn’t experience any of the 3 things that would make it semen? Is it najis and how should I proceed?

Answer: If it is a thick viscous liquid, smells like fermented dough, milky color or tends to yellow or green, then it is semen.
Question:If your washing something najis and while washing there is splash from it onto another area, does that area become najis


Ayatollah:Sistani

Answer: No. Provided that najast particles are not in the splash.
Question:If I was given a gift, in this case it was a silver necklace, and I wore it once but I didn’t intend to not wear it again and then the time for khums was due. Do I still have to take into account of that silver in my khums?

If I had a gift and didn’t use it, but had no savings at all to pay khums, what should I do?

Answer: 1) If you used it, and have the intention to use it again, then, no need to pay khoms.

2) You can either sell it, and pay the khoms, or make khoms rotation with the representative of S. Sistani in your area, and pay the amount later.
Question:If your washing your left side during ghusul and then you have a doubt that you didn’t wash an area on the right side. Can you wash that area then come back on the left side and continue washing?

Answer: In fact, you have to.
Question:I’ve realised that in the years before I didn’t do my khums properly. I thought I did it properly at the time. What should I do now?


Ayatollah:Sistani

Answer: You should just pay the difference.
Question:There’s a game where you have to lie to help you win. Would that game be allowed to play?


Ayatollah:Sistani

Answer: If you lie to the machine only, then it is OK, but it is better to avoid, as could make it a habit
Question:If I break an oath and have decided to keep fast for 3 days I want to know the niyat of this fast and should I fast consecutively?


Ayatollah:Sistani

Answer: First you have to feed 10 needy persons, each one 750 grams of flour or bread.
If you are not able to do so, then you can fast.
Question:I am a converted who lives with his non-muslims parents (not ahlul kitab) and I struggle a little bit with purity, especially when it comes to food. Can I eat with my parents out of taqqiyah (for the sake of unity, not fear) even thought the food is najis (however it is halal meat) ? My parents aren't happy when I do not eat with them.


Ayatollah:Sistani

Answer: You can refer to Sheikh Fayadh in the law of purity of non Muslims, and accordingly you can eat with your parents, provided that you do not eat haram meat.
Question:I would like to know : are 'Ibadis pure?

Ayatollah:Sistani

Answer: Yes. Abadees are pure.
