Question:I was in discussions with a potential spouse and it hit a stumbling block as she asked me to consider changing how I pray my namaz and include Aliun Waliullah. Is this forbidden and is there any Hadith from our Imams a.s to illustrate this?

Ayatollah:Sistani

Answer: We cannot add or subtract anything from the wajibaat on our own accord.
If one is a mujtahid, then they can analyse Quran and Hadith regarding this issue, and if one is a muqallid (follower) then they must follow what their mujtahid has ruled on this issue, just like everything else.
Question:During my prayer I have difficulty to pronounce ح andض correctly. So I repeat always the zikr until its correct, but sometimes I can’t be able to pronounce it with makhraj.
Do I have to repeat namaz ?

Ayatollah:Sistani

Answer: If you are pronouncing it to best of your ability, once is sufficient and you don’t need to repeat.
Question:Is it allowed for someone who doubt excessively about the number of rakat and sajda to use the special mohr with counter please?

Ayatollah:Sistani

Answer: Yes
Question:I just learned that when we pray salat we must hear a sound from our mouth when we are reciting zikr, even if its not too clear.

So my question is, its obligatory to hear each letter or its okay if its in generally?

Ayatollah:Sistani

Answer: As long as it is being pronounced it is fine even if it is quiet.
Question:If I am in my 2nd rakat, I finished to recite the tashahud and then by error, I start to say ‘Assalam’ , the zikr of salam
And then I correct my error by reciting the zikr of tashahud again.

Do I have to do sajda e sahw for the zikr of salam that I said?

Or I have to repeat namaz again?

Ayatollah:Sistani

Answer: As soon as you realise, you can continue your Namaz by leaving the salaam (no need to repeat the tashhahud) then doing Sajdah sahw at the end.
Question:I did wudhu and I prayed namaz zohr and asr. Then, I did wudhu again because my wudhu was broken and I prayed namaz soubh qaza. At the end of my namaz soubh kaza, I saw something in my arm that Is obstacle for wazou, one glitters.

Thus, I dont know if I also have to repeat namaz zohr and asr because I'm not sure if it was present for this 2 namaz. Or just repeat namaz soubh?

Ayatollah:Sistani

Answer: If time is remaining, then better to repeat all the Namaz.
If time has passed then it is valid and no need to repeat
Question:This is the answer from ayatullah sistani about my gas problem :
‘if it is possible to hold back a moment to do the ablutions and part of the prayer the precaution is to do the ablutions and the prayer in this moment but one should not redo the ablutions if he lost his ablutions during the prayer , he has to repeat only if he does something else that cancels ablution.’

So it means that if for example I feel confortable to pray , so I pray Zohr and I broke my wudhu. I can still pray asr without repeating wudhu?

Ayatollah:Sistani

Answer: No it means if you praying Zohr and break the wuzu during Namaz then you continue and you don’t need to repeat. For Asr, you have to do wuzu again if it broke during or after Zuhr.
Question:Is it obligatory to pronounce the ‘h’ at the end of this zikr :

اَشْهَدُ اَنْ لااِلهَ اِلاَّ اللّهُ وَحْدَهُ لاشَرِیكَ لَهُ

If I finished namaz then I noticed I did not pronounce it
Do I have to repeat ?

Ayatollah:Sistani

Answer: It is but if you finished and then noticed then only Sajdah Sahw is necessary
Question:I am currently going through anxiety and would like to know if there are any Islamic remedy such as Duas or actions to help me overcome this situation.

Ayatollah:Sistani

Answer: You should get professional help if you have not already.
