Question:I wanted to know the nature of the Imams after Prophet Moosa that the Quran references in verse 5:12. What role did these Imams play, and can we connect that to our current 12 Imams? Was Hazrat Moosa's 12 Imams also hereditary line like ours?

Ayatollah:Makarem Shirazi

Answer: The nature of the Imams in Qur’an 5:12 is different from the nature of our beloved 12 Imams. Our Imams are all children of our beloved prophet whereas 12 of prophet Musah are 12 sincere and pious leaders from different tribes of that time. They were those who knew Allah than others within their tribes. Their roles were less complicated than that of our beloved 12 Imams

Question:In the past few months I have been very heavily affected by waswasa which I think is making my mental and physical health worse. Most of it is entirely about salah and taharat. I've read every possible forum and it seems the simple suggestion is to ignore it all. But as you know the problem is being unable to ignore it. Is there any specific duas I could read so that I feel less under pressure. I feel scared to go do something as simple as relieving my bowels. It is slowly breaking down my entire belief and I've even started crying and felt like dying. I recently completed my phd thesis and I can honestly say that waswas feels like a bigger challenge

Ayatollah:Khamenei

Answer: 1. Try to go for an expert counseling
2. You should definitely try to ignore the doubts. Don’t entertain it at all
3. Qur’an is the best remedy. Try as much as you can not to forget recitation of the Qur’an daily before you out and before bed.
Question:I attended a majlis one of the nights of Ashurah, and I was deeply touched by the story and what I had heard. I am a bit familiar with the basic Shia aqaid, and Alhamdulilah I did recently take the step to become Shia as I was originally a Sunni. My question is should we view the tragedy of Karbala moreso as a praise of the Ahlul Bayt or should we view it in terms of its broader messages (such as justice and imaan and oppression) without so much focus on the Ahlul Bayt? My understanding of Karbala was not with a focus on the ahlul bayt, but of the universal ideas of divine justice and truth. Also how much should we use the wasila of the Ahlul Bayt in dua?

Ayatollah:Sistani

Answer: 1. No doubt the event of karbala is epitome of social justice. It cannot be separated from that. At the same time it highlights on the great merits of the Ahlul bait. Therefore, both social justice and be Ahlul bait are relevant when discussing karbala
2. Use the wasila of the Ahlul bait as much as you can so long as you believe Ahlul bait art not independent of Allah
Question:I was a (removed) who recently decided to become Shia Alhamdulilah. I was wondering if it was problematic to believe that the Prophet had other daughters besides Fatima. I had learned as a Sunni that the prophet had other daughters besides Fatima, and I have recently learned that there is no evidence for it. Is believing that the Prophet had other daughters make it so that Fatima has less virtues?

Ayatollah:Sistani

Answer: May Allah bless you and makes it easy for you.
Believing that the prophet had other daughters doesn’t reduce the virtues of Sayyida Fatima. Sayyida Fatima is known and Allah and the prophet spoke of her profound virtues. Nothing can change that.
The matter is about fact and accuracy. The fact of the matter as per the historical account is that Prophet had no any other children.
Believing that prophet had other daughters may give values to some of those who stood against the Ahlul bait
Question:At what time all the Namaz have to receited as qaza can you explain?
